3 Tips For The Morning Of Your Wedding Day

This is for all the brides out there planning their wedding… or anyone on their wedding day! Let’s have your big day be fun and stress free. I’ve been to weddings as a photographer and let me just tell ya… I have seen wedding timelines have everyone feeling stressed out but the day always turns out perfect. These are tips to try and help you feel less stressed on your wedding day— this doesn’t mean that if one thing becomes stressful, its going to be a stressful day. If we are all being honest here, wedding timelines never go as planned but they always* turn out in the most perfect way!

3 Tips For The Morning Of Your Wedding Day

  1. Get some “you time” before you meet with your friends and family

When you wake up on your wedding day, take a good 30 minutes to yourself. This can be enjoying your cup of coffee/tea out on the front porch or journaling. This is going to be a long but beautiful day. You will be seeing lots of family and friends and having many cherished conversations. You deserve to have “you time” first!

2. Make sure your belly is full with a nutritious breakfast/brunch

This can be an early breakfast (because I know you are going to wake up so excited and will probably be up before the sun comes up lol) or a brunch. You might not feel hungry because you have so many emotions from being excited with your big day. You still need to eat. Your body needs food for energy to get through this big and fun filled day!

3. Get some music goin’ baby

Make a playlist that is called “getting ready” for your wedding day! Add some throwback songs— this will lighten everyone’s mood while getting their makeup done and hair did :) This can also bring back memories with your friends which will lead to many good laughs.

This is a short blog because I wanted it to just get to the point. Don’t let your wedding day be stressful. Not everything is going to go the exact plan as the timeline of the day— and that is ok. Don’t worry about the little details. Remember what this day is all about and enjoy it!
